This product was the result of a long collaboration with ReaMetrix Inc. to develop an instrument and cartridge based on their proprietary technology. Starting from a bench prototype, we designed and developed the product from the ground up. The process involved combining technical requirements with end-user needs to create a simple, easy-to-use device and consumable cartridge.

The cartridge, containing the sample, is loaded into the device, where a laser head reads the sample as the cartridge spins, similar to a CD drive. The captured image is then processed through optics to separate it into different channels, which are subsequently analyzed to identify the targets.

This work has not only produced a functional product but also resulted in the creation of intellectual property for the team.
